Ham, Billie

Mr. Billie Ham, age 79 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was a retired truck driver for General Motors and after retirement, owned Wilderness Call Art Gallery with his brother William at the Executive Inn in Paducah, and was a member of Galilean Baptist Church in Wallet Lake, MI. He was a veteran on the US Navy.

Born Saturday, September 24, 1938 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late James Edgar Ham and the late Nellie (Bell) Ham.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Linda (Racer) Ham of Benton, KY, daughter, Laura Ham of Benton, KY, and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by son, David Ham, brothers, James E. Ham and William H. Ham, and sister, Patricia Truelove.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Scott Penick officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
