Michael Thomas Mattingly, 66, of Paducah, KY ( formerly of Owensboro, KY), passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was born on February 3, 1959, in Owensboro to the late Robert Wesley and Mary Emma Heal Mattingly. He was a 1977 graduate of Owensboro High School. After high school, Michael served his country in the United States Navy.
Michael is survived by his two sisters, Marian Posey of Murray. KY and Susan (David) Russell of Paducah; his brother, Wesley (Cathy) Mattingly Jr. of Mt. Sterling, KY, along with several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
