Annette Hunt, age 85, of Cunningham, passed away at Lourdes Hospital at 11:22 PM on April 19, 2017.
She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and a Community Caregiver through the church. She received the "Sophia Award" from
the Diocese of Owensboro in 2016 for her excellent work as a caregiver. She was a member of the Carlisle County Homemakers and
was a passionate quilter. Annette loved dancing and was invited to appear on the Molly B. Polka Party in 2014.
Annette Hunt is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Ricciardi and husband Daniel of Newport, KY and her son, Ricky Hunt and wife Debbie of Cunningham, KY; two sisters, Pat Elliott of Fancy Farm, KY and Georgia Sullivan of O'Fallon, MO.
She leaves behind four grandchildren, Kimberly Draper of Ocala, FL, Matthew Hunt of Warren, MI, Leanne Ricciardi of Cincinnati, OH and Eric Ricciardi of Cincinnati, OH; five great-grandchildren, Benjamin Draper, Joshua Draper,Cecilia Rose Hunt, Ezekiel Draper and Sara Beth Draper. Also surviving are three step-grandchildren, Jeremy Whitfield of Plano, TX, Joshua Whitfield of Paducah, KY and Andrea Whitfield of Mayfield, KY; six step-great grandchildren, Abigail, Charles, Kirsten, Adam, Azayna and Alexa Whitfield. She is also survived by her close friend and companion, Clifton Hayden of Kirbyton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jesse Howard Hunt and her parents, Herbie and Tillie Blandford Toon and two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services for Annette Hunt will be Monday, April 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church with Rev. Chrispin Oneko officiating and burial in
Cunningham Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call after 3:00 PM Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Bardwell with prayers at 7:30 PM.
Additional visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the service time of 11:00 AM Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church.
