Christina Lynn Rushing, 19, of Paducah, KY passed away at 10:59 a.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Lourdes Hospital. She was born in Union City, TN. Christina was employed by Aeropostale Clothing Store and was a student at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. Christina was a graduate of Reidland High School and was a member of the Reidland United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her parents, William (Billy) D. Rushing, II and Cynthia (Cindy) Duncan Rushing of Paducah, KY; sister, Abigail (Abby) Rushing of Paducah, KY; grandfather, James K. Duncan of Paducah, KY; grandmother, Wanda Rushing of Clinton, KY; aunts and uncles, Brad and Vicki Bryan of Paducah, KY, Kenny and Cathy Duncan of Paducah, KY, Paul and Lisa Rushing of Clinton, KY, and Rose Ann and Cory Shelman of Paducah, KY; cousins, Amy Knees of Paducah, KY, Clay Duncan of Paducah, KY, Sam Rushing of Madisonville, KY, Ben Rushing of Denver, CO, Zach Dowd of Memphis, TN, Megan Dowd of Memphis, TN and Cassie Dowd of Cumming, GA.

Christina was preceded in death by a grandmother, Zelma Duncan and a grandfather, Dennis Rushing.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. David Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
