Elbert Lee Davis, age 92, passed away at 6:35 am on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

Mr. Davis was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in West Paducah and a lifelong farmer.

Mr. Davis is survived by his daughter, Patricia O’Neal of Bremen, KY; sister, Ruth Evelyn Warford of Grahamville; grandchildren, Brian O’Neal and wife Laura of Bremen, KY, Kelly Lee Nace and husband Rodney of Bandana, KY; great grandchildren, Molly Lee Nace, Sydney Nace and Sam O’Neal; special niece and caregiver, Rhonda Scarbrough of West Paducah and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma Lee (Skinner) Davis; parents, Hugh and Minnie (Grant) Davis; son-in-law, Phillip O’Neal; sister, Verlin Elizabeth Davis; brothers, William Alvah Davis, Charles Marion Davis and Lois Edward Davis.

Funeral services for Elbert Lee Davis will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bill Ogden officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
