Mrs. Mary Colburn Mott Willoughby, 82, of Murray, died at 10:43 a.m., Friday, June 22,

2012, at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on February 1, 1930 she was the former co- owner and manager of the Stella Grocery Store. She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church and a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George C. and Tena Alexander Colburn, one son, Stephen Kenneth Mott, one stepson, Gregory D. Willoughby, first husband, Kenny Mott, three brothers, Harold Colburn, George Colburn, Jr., and Eugene Colburn, as well as one sister, Margaret Tyson.

She is survived by her husband, Dallas Willoughby of Murray, 4 sons, Terry Mott (Rebecca) of Murray, Gary Mott (Angie) of Ocala, Fl., Ken Mott (Kelly) of Murray, and Kevin Mott, of Bedford, In., one stepson, David D. Willoughby, of Atlanta, Ga., one brother, Dr. William Colburn (Mary), two sisters, Teressa Hayden and Helen Castleberry (Clifton), as well as a special sister-in-law, Barbara Mott Colburn.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 25, 2011 at 11 am at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, with Rev. Glynn Orr officiating, and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, June 24, 2012, from 5-8:30 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
