Eric Wayne “Bubba” Greene, 30, of Paducah was promoted to heaven at 11:35 PM Monday, November 3, 2014 at his residence. Eric died from complications of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Eric was a member of Reidland Baptist Church and was a graduate of Reidland High School. Eric had the biggest smile and the biggest heart a person could have, Eric was very giving and selfless. 10 years ago Eric decided he wanted to do something good so he decided to donate his body to help find a cure for all of the young boys left behind with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He is now in heaven with Jesus Christ whom he loved so much.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Holly Greene of Paducah; brother, Joshua Greene and wife Jayla of Louisville; two sisters, Heather Caudill and husband Steven of Paducah, Kimberly Cooper of Paducah; 2 nieces, Sydney Cooper, Laylah Nall; nephew, Aaron Michael Greene; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Francis Greene, Imogene and Ted York; great grandparents, Willard and Lucille Tolbert, Holbert and Wilma York.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Reidland Baptist Church with Bill Coleman officiating.
