Gary Smith, aka Squirrel/Wilbur, 51, of Paducah, died Saturday morning, September 19th, 2015 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Gary was a kind, fun loving man who loved walking his dog, watching wrestling, and going fishing.
He is survived by his Significant Other, Sheila Thacker of Paducah; two daughters, Tara Smith of Illinois, and Lacey Collins of Kentucky; parents, Pat and Lexie Autry; two step sisters, Sue Breeden and Shirley Nichols of Cedar Grove, Tn.; two brothers, Donnie Smith of Grand Rivers, and Terry Hunt of Graves County, Ky.; two special nieces, Ladonna Pittman and Brandi Crass of Paducah; and five grandchildren.
He is also survived by his adopted family, Linda, Rhonda, Brad, Renea, & Hunter Kingston; Ryan and Justin Riley; Brandy, Bo, Kyleigh, and Kobe Thompson; Andrea, Destiny, and Kelly Mayo; Noah and Dustin Gorham; Jody, Brandon, Shayna, & Libby Johnson; Emmalyn and Julian; Tommy Franklin; and his dog Shayna.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Smith; maternal grandparents, Annalee Smith and Luke Price; paternal grandparents, Charlene Taylor and Kenneth Smith Sr; and adopted pappy, Bobby Kingston.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 1st, 2015 at 3pm at Lone Oak First Baptist Church with Rev. Stan Reid officiating. Flowers can be left at the church after 1pm and before 3pm on Thursday.
