Jack Harper, 89, of Paducah, died Thursday morning, July 9th, 2015 at Countryside Nursing and rehab of Bardwell.

Jack was a navy veteran of WWII and owner and president of Jax Construction of Kevil, a member of 1st Presbyterian Church of Paducah, and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by two sons, Brant (Judy) Harper of Murray, and Douglas (Darlene) Harper of Canton, Ms.; one daughter in law, Linda Houston Harper of Kevil; one brother, William (Marjorie) Harper of Owensboro; three granddaughters; three grandsons; three great grandchildren; four nieces and four nephews including Cynthia Dzomba of Clinton, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta (Bobby) Harper; his parents, Harold M. and Zebeline M. Darly Harper; and one son, Jack Robin Harper.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions in his honor can be made to the 1st Presbyterian Church of Paducah.
