Jack Kerr, 88, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 12:02 am Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. Jack was a retired Iron Worker and a United States Army Veteran. He served his country during World War II and the Korean War.

 

He was born in Brookport, IL on July 13, 1927 to Hoyt and Maye Kerr. He and his wife Faye, were long time members of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a quite man who was a good Husband, Father and hard working provider.

 

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lucy Faye Morris Kerr, of Paducah, KY; his son, Gary A. Kerr and wife Christina, of Charles Town, WV; his grandchildren, Christopher M. Kerr and wife Tammy, of Harpers Ferry, WV, Gregory A. Kerr, of Washington, DC, Thomas Jason Kerr, of Elkridge, MD; his great grandchildren, Christopher D. Kerr, Nathan M. Kerr, Brenden C. Kerr, Ashley C. Kerr, Gavin J. Kerr, Gennevieve M. Kerr, Delano J. Kerr.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt Bruce Kerr and Maye Richmond Kerr; his sister, Lois Kerr Walker; his brother, Warren Richmond Kerr.

 

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Monday, November 2, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Dr. Dan Summerlin and Rev. Mike Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Pell Cemetery in Brookport, IL.

 

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am-1:00 pm Monday, November 2, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
