Mildred (Norsworthy) Lofton, age 88 of Benton, KY died on Monday, April 18, 2016, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. She was a homemaker and member of New Zion Baptist Church.
Born Saturday, February 18, 1928 in Kirksey, KY, she was the daughter of the late Will Norsworthy and the late Ethel (Boggess) Norsworthy.
Surviving are sons, Roger Edward Lofton, wife Jerlene of Arkada, FL and Randy Phillip Lofton, wife Sandy of Brookport, IL, brother, Earl Wade Norsworthy of Murray, KY, sister, Mattie Lou Norsworthy of Murray, KY, and grandchild, Brent Lofton of MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Edward Lofton; brothers, Ollis Anderson, Boyd Norsworthy and Wendell Norsworthy, and sister, Ola Darnall.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. C.C. Brasher officiating.
Interment will follow in the New Zion Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home.
