Morgan Mathis, 65, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Mathis was a retired tire builder from Goodyear and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving is his wife, Lynnda Mathis of Mayfield; two sons, A.J. Mathis of Missouri and Tim Mathis of Puryear, TN; two brothers, Joe Edward Mathis of Mayfield and Jimmy Mathis of Louisville; one sister, Pam Kirkman of Utah; eight grandchildren, Dillon Mathis, Amber Mathis, Tyler Mathis, Madison Mathis, Alex Morgan Mathis, Faith Mathis, Katie Lynn McNutt, and Randy Ashley Mathis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morgan Mathis Sr. and JoAnn Edwards Mathis; and one sister, Susan Loraine Thomas.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
