Raymond Blasdel, 91, of Reidland, passed away at 7:00 AM on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Mr. Blasdel was retired from B.F. Goodrich in Calvert City as a Chemical Operator, a Veteran of the Navy in WWII where he served in The South Pacific and was a member of Gospel Mission Worship Center of Paducah.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Wilma Blasdel of Reidland; two sons, Steve Blasdel of Reidland and Tim Blasdel of Reidland; one sister, Lois Wood of Metropolis, IL; three granddaughters, Heather Murt, Jodie Guess, Jennifer Overby; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Blasdel Sr. and Mabel (Badgley) Blasdel.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Gospel Mission Worship Center in Paducah with Rev. Jim Wright officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM at the Church.
