Ronald “Ronny” Owen Buchanan, 73, of Hagerstown, MD, formerly of Wickliffe, passed away at 3:10 pm on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown, MD. Mr. Buchanan was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wickliffe. He retired from Westvaco in Wickliffe after having worked there for 30 years. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Paper Mill Union #680 and a member of the Wickliffe Masonic Lodge. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his daughters, Greta Buchanan Shelbourne and Fiancé Jonathan Mabry of Paducah and Ronda Buchanan Basler and husband Edward of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren, Talor Maurien Treece and Kennedy Marie Shelbourne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chanceford Owen and Marie (Jones) Buchanan. Funeral services for Ronald “Ronny” Owen Buchanan will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Larry Fraser officiating.
