Paul Jones, 84, of Metropolis, Illinois died Monday May 26th, 2014 at Baptist Health of Paducah. Paul was retired from running his own used car dealership in Metropolis for many years. He was also an Army Veteran and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Rosebud, IL.
He is survived by one sister, Dorothy Loven of Metropolis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jo Huckleberry Jones; his second wife, Shirley Pollard Jones; his parents, Charles Patrick Jones Sr. and Juanita Beatrice Moll Jones; one brother, Charles Patrick Jones Jr.; and one sister, Elizabeth Hill.
A graveside service for the family conducted by Brother Kevin Richerson, Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 305 Rosebud Rd. Golconda, IL. 62938
