Betty Caroline Dixon Summers, age 82, passed away at her residence in Wickliffe at 11:52 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016. She was a member of Blandville Baptist Church and a home maker.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joe Summers; her daughter, Gayle Fleischer of Wickliffe; her sons, Gary (Barb) Summers of Jackson, MI and Terry Summers of Wickliffe; sisters, Freota (Kenneth) King, Vicki (Rob) Phillips, Rachel (Mike) Koker, and Jane Chapman all of Jackson, MI; brothers Bruce (Marsha) Dixon and Mike (Roberta) Dixon, both of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Gary Joe (Kim) Summers, Lyndee Summers, Amy (Tom) Sanders, Randy Summers, and Jayme Norris; several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Lurlene Purcell Dixon; her sisters, Cissy Richardson and Sue Benjamin; brothers, Gene Dixon and Charles Dixon.
Services will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 20, 2016 with Rev. Larry Jackson officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
