Wayne was born in Anna, IL. To Maurice and Jean Davis, who preceded him in death.
Wayne lived in the Heath Community for 60 years, and attended Heath High School. He was a long time member of McKendree United Methodist Church in Kevil.
Wayne’s passions were his family, gardening, and fishing. But most of all he loved to make people laugh.
Through the years he worked at Brown’s Plating, J.C. Penny’s and retired from Sam’s Club.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Karen L. Fortner Davis of Heath; two sons and daughters-in-laws, Bobby and Loretta Sibbald of Heath; Tommy and Melissa Davis of Heath; Five grandchildren; Cody Anderson of Paducah; Taylon Chesnutt of Paducah; Robert and Jacob Sibbald of Heath; Mason Davis of LaCenter; Three special grandchildren, Thomas Jones; Abriella Davis; Yoshua Krone and two great grand children, Alex Chesnutt and Isabella Anderson.
Wayne is also survived by two brothers, Jerry Davis of West Paducah and Gary Davis of Heath. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
