Charles Edwin Masters, 89, of Cunningham, moved on to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 15, 2018 at his residence.
Charles was born on July 19, 1928 to Ervin and Ora Alice (Moyers) Masters. He was of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of Zoar Baptist Church in Cunningham. Charles and his wife, Eva Lou, were very proud of their family farm where they worked as dairy farmers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Eva Lou Masters of Cunningham; three daughters, Charlotte Owens and husband, Jimmy Dale, Nancy DeJarnatt and husband, Glenford and Janene Hammonds and husband, Mike, all of Cunningham; one brother, Leon Masters and wife, Janet of High Ridge, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brad Copeland and wife, Lori, Joey Morgan and wife, Emily and Bart Hammonds and wife, Heather, all of Cunningham; two great-grandchildren, Case Edwin Morgan and Emmie Morgan of Cunningham.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Juanita Burd and one brother, Wilbur Masters.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Rev. Darrel Titus officiating. Burial will follow at Zoar Cemetery in Cunningham.
