Dorothy Stockwell Adams Horman, age 88, of Arlington, passed away at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
She was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church and an Eastern Star member. She worked for Brown Shoe Company in Arkansas and at an egg drying plant during WWII.
Ms. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Vikki Crider of Murray and Susan Hickman and husband, Bobby of LaCenter; her son, Gary “Frog” Adams and wife, Sherie of Austin, Arkansas; her daughter in law, Jennifer Adams; step-daughters, Kay Horman and Robbie Conner and husband, Barry; her grandchildren, Samantha Adams, Travis Hoskins, Brett Draper and wife, Emily, Jacob Adams, Jordan Adams, Brach Crider, and Alona Wheeler and husband, Chris; and thirteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by two special nieces, Shelly and Rhonda.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Grady Miles Adams and Anton Theodore Horman; two sons, Charles Adams and Carl Adams; son in law, Jerry Crider; parents, Thomas Oscar and Stella Louise Broadway Stockwell; five sisters and four brothers.
Graveside services will be held at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Kentucky on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Keith Osborne officiating. There will be no public visitation. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of the arrangements.
