Kenneth B. Coker, age 93, of Mayfield, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at McCracken Nursing & Rehab in Paducah.
He was born on June 19, 1923 in Knoxville, TN to Cleo and Willie Fowler Coker. He was a United States Army Corporal and was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Ribbon and a World War II Victory medal for his service. He worked as a trucker in the food industry. Mr. Coker was a member of Highpoint Baptist Church of Mayfield. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge # 369 and a member of the Shiners.
He is survived by his niece, Martha McGee of Arlington and several other nieces and nephews; special friends, Joe and Yovone Kimbell of Mayfield.
He was preceded by his wife, Jo Ann Coker, his parents and brother, Paul Coker.
There will be a graveside service for Mr. Coker at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017 in Roselawn cemetery in Bardwell, KY. Rev. Glen Stewart will officiate.
There will be no visitation. Milner & Orr Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Bardwell is in charge of these arrangements.
