Mildred Alberta Purdy, 77, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at River Haven Nursing & Rehab. Mildred was a native of Marshall County.
Survivors include one son, Donald Stuart Chappell; one daughter, Stephanie Renee’ Oakley; two grandchildren, Gaven Blake Oakley and Gabrielle Peyton Pearson; two sisters, Barbara Marie Cross-Griggs and Linda Sue Morris.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hayden Lewis Payne; her mother, Thelma Lorene (Scott) Payne; and her granddaughter, Carson Paige Oakley.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Thomas Williams officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m.
