Norine Lewis, 84, of Columbus, KY passed away at 10:29pm Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at ICF Nursing in Clinton, KY. Norine was born March 29, 1930 in Columbus, KY to the late James Perry Lewis and Mary Lee Watkins. She is a retired supervisor of a clothing manufacturing facility, a former president of Columbus Homecoming Committee and a member of St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Wilma Renee Simmons of Columbus, KY, Lawanda Sue Griffin of Columbus, KY, Karen Denice Griffin of Columbus, KY, and Toni Annette Griffin of Columbus, KY; one son, Reginald Farmer and wife Debbie of Erie, PA,; three grandchildren, Robert Farmer, Reginald Farmer Jr., and Crystal Holloway, and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Perry Lewis and Mary Lee Watkins; one son, James Curtis Lewis; one sister, Edith Mae Buffington; and one brother, James Lewis.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon Friday February 13, 2015 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington, with Rev. Wendell D. Gray Officiating. Burial will follow at Columbus Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00am Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
