Phyllis Evelyn Rials

Phyllis Evelyn Rials, age 77, of Cunningham, KY passed away at 2:17 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2020  at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center surrounded by her family.  Phyllis was a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She enjoyed singing and being part of the church choir.  Phyllis had many talents and enjoyed sewing, decorating at Christmas, cooking and especially being “Grandma” to her ten grandchildren.  Phyllis fit the true Proverbs 31 woman as a loving wife, living her true Christian life to the fullest.

Survivors include her husband of 58  years, Hubert Jackson Rials, three daughters, Lisa Hicks, Florence, KY, Wendy (Mike) King, Hebron, KY and Jennifer Ruby , Cincinnati, OH; one son, Steven (Tracey) Rials, Union, KY; two brothers, Larry (Linda) Grinnell, North Branch, MI, and  Paul “Nick” (Jane) Nicholas, Evanston, ILL; ten grandchildren, Matthew (Allison) Hicks, Laura Hicks, Rachel Rials, Steven Rials, Nathanael Rials, Kacey Rials, Amy (James) Jackson, Emily Bowen, Lauren King, and  Caroline King; three great-grandchildren;  several neices and nephews; one sister, Connie Deneen; one brother, Norman Grinnell.

Preceding in death were her parents, George Grinnell & Beatrice Busch  Nicholas; one brothers, Kenneth Grinnell; son-in-law, Paul Hicks.

Services will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Harold Draper officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell.  Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
