Reather Lee Garnett, age 84, of Portland, OR, formerly of Paducah, passed away, Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the Portland West Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of the First Love Seventh Day Adventist Church of Paducah and was employed as a nurse’s aide at the former Riverfront Nursing Home.
She is survived by four sons, George Garnett of Goodyear, AZ, Simual Garnett, Sr. and James Garnett, both of Paducah, and Dan Morse of Mayfield; one brother, Richard Morse of Henderson, KY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Drue Edward Garnett; her parents, Richard Morse and Venetta McGowan Morse. one daughter, Etta Mae Garnett; five sons, Harold E. Garnett, Isaac Drue Garnett, Joseph A. Garnett, Ordell Garnett and Robert Lee Garnett; two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral Services have been scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2019, 12:00 Noon, at First Love Seventh Day Adventist Church with Reverend Nickalos Baker and Manulito Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
