Ruth Owen Hook, 95, of Bellingham, WA, formerly of Paducah, passed away on Thursday December 5, 2019 at her home.
She was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a retired bookkeeper for Riverways Mobile Solutions and she loved to sew.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna G. Wong and husband, Soong of Bellingham, WA; son, Larry Owen Hook of Topeka, KS; two brothers, Jack C. Owen and wife, Lois,of Grand Rivers, Dale Owen and wife, Judy of Kuttawa; and four grandchildren, Gale Skye Greyson, Christopher David Miller, Aaron Fredrick Hook, and Diana Elisabeth Hook.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Galena Stewart and Opal Jean Medley; and brother, Norman Wesley Owen. Her parents were, Riley Owen, Viola Mae Griffin Owen.
Funeral services for Ruth will be 1:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
