Terry Ballard, 65, of Wickliffe, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
He worked as a deckhand on a barge and was a farm laborer. He was of the Baptist faith.
Terry is survived by his wife, Gina Hobbs Ballard; son, Corey Ballard and wife Melissa of Wickliffe; daughter, Laurie Denton and husband David of West Paducah; father, Herbert Ballard Jr. and wife Melva of Wickliffe; sister Cherry Gail Dodd and husband Donnie of Kevil; brothers, Larry Ballard and wife Donna of Wickliffe, Mark Ballard and wife Patty of West Paducah, Glen Ballard and wife Missy of Wickliffe; and five grandchildren, Seth Ballard, Nate Ballard, Ruth Ballard, Lauren Denton and Lyla Denton.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia “Peaches” Shelbourne Ballard and one son, Joshua Ballard.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Bethlehem Church Cemetery.
