Arlie E. Yancey

Arlie Estil Yancey, 60, of Murray, died October 8, 2014 at Tristar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn. 

Born in Oscar, Ky. on June 3, 1954, Mr. Yancey was a self-employed contractor and a member of the Aurora Baptist Church in Aurora, Ky.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Yancey; and a brother, Chuck Yancey. 

He is survived by his wife, Karen Yancey of Murray; mother, Emma Yancey of Murray; sons, Josh Yancey (Gina) of Paducah, Ky. and Ryan Yancey (Ashley) of Mayfield, Ky.; stepson, Tim Lamkin of Clearwater, Fla.; stepdaughters, Angie Imler (Eric) of Lebanon, Tenn. and Cindy Anderson of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; brothers, Frank Yancey (Kim) of Ohio and Mike Yancey of Symsonia, Ky.; sisters, Billy Jo Allcock of Murray and Beverley Jones of Mayfield, Ky.; and twelve grandchildren, Austin Yancey and Alyssa Yancey, of Mayfield, Ky.; Mia Rayburn, Laney Yancey, Cooper Yancey and Aspen Yancey, of Paducah, Ky.; Hunter Anderson, Zac Anderson and Gracie Anderson, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; Erika Alsup (Bryant) of Florida; and Morgan Imler of Lebanon, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Heritage Chapel (121 North) of Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, with Dewey Dick officiating. Burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Heritage Chapel.
