Mrs. Brenda Joyce Mason Smith, age 69, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Heritage Manor Healthcare in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of Farmington Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Lee Smith; one son, Mitchell Lee (Karen) Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Mark (Janie) Mason and Barry (Mitzi) Mason both of Brewers, KY; one sister, Sandra Smith of Murray, KY; four grandchildren, Brittany Hicks, Mason Smith, Madison Smith and Matthew Smith; and three great grandchildren, Ava Winters, Jacob Hicks and Westin Smith.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Brent Smith; one brother, Kenneth Mason; one sister, Paula Mason; and her parents, Walter B. and Garvelene Burnett Mason.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Joyce Mason Smith will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Stan Colley, Jerry Mayes and Stan Little will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery in Golo, KY.
Pallbearers will be Mason Smith, Mark Mason, Barry Mason, Stephen Mason, Aaron Hicks, Doug Smith and Matthew Smith.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
