Edna Earle Fletcher

Mrs. Edna Earle Fletcher, 98, of Benton, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY.



Born Sunday, May 30, 1920, in McCracken County, KY, she was a homemaker and mother. She worked in the Paducah city school cafeteria and subsequently retired from the dietary department at Western Baptist Hospital (Baptist Health) in Paducah, KY. She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, Benton, KY.



Surviving are her daughter, Jannie Washburn of Benton, KY; son, Bill Fletcher of Benton, KY; daughter, Sue Tuholsky of Indiana, PA; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.



Mrs. Fletcher was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jackson and Janie (Miller) Jackson; husband, William "Bill" Fletcher; and daughter Fairy Mitchell.



Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2019, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Kim Morrison officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery located at 1335 North 13th Street, Paducah, KY.



The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Street, Benton, KY.
