Gordon Carlson

Mr. Gordon Carlson, 91, of Almo, KY died Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Spring Creek Healthcare.

Born November 4,1922 in Richmond, Minnesota to the late John T. and Mildred A. Carlson. Gordon was of the Methodist faith and was employed by Grummen-Rockwell and Boeing Aeronautics. He was a Navy veteran and a charter member of the Murray Friends of the Library, as well as, a member of the same organization in Ventura, California. 

In addition to his parents Gordon was also preceded in death by two brothers, Walter O. Carlson and Arnold Carlson.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Rogers Carlson of Almo; a son, Jon R. Carlson of Everett, Washington, a daughter, Gwenda Wilhelm, (Steve) of Almo and three grandsons, Justin, Brian, and Adam Wilhelm. 

Graveside services are set for 2:00 PM, Friday, May 8, 2015 at Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, May 4, 2015 from  4-6 PM at the Imes Funeral Home and Crematory, downtown Murray.
