Brazier, Harland E.

Harland Eugene Brazier, 71, of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019, 4:50 p.m., at Baptist Health Paducah.

He was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church where he served as supervisor of the building and grounds department. He graduated from West Kentucky State Vocational- Technical School where he later became the instructor for the Carpentry Department. He retired from City of Paducah as Deputy Chief Inspector and was owner and operator of Triple B Maintenance.

He was a veteran of United States Army having served during Desert Strom.

Harland is survived by his wife, Fenecia Smith Brazier of Paducah; one son, Reverend Marland Brazier of Aurora, IL; one daughter, Sharla Wilson of Paducah; seven grandchildren; three step- sons, Jerry O. Blue of Paducah, Jimmie Sox of Elizabethtown, KY and John Long of Savannah, GA; three sisters, Melva Davis of Wichita Falls, TX, Gloria Brazier of Paducah and Dorothy Williford of Cape Girardeau, MO; two brothers, Kenneth Brazier of San Bernandino, CA and Terry Brazier of Tamms. IL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Brazier, Sr. and Mattie Brazier; two sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend’s James L. Hudson and Jewel Wilson, Jr. officiating. Entombment with military honors will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
