Hugh Carey, 79, of Murray, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Spring Creek Health Care.
Mr. Carey was born December 8, 1935 in Cincinnati Iowa to the late Walter and Ada Mae Carey. He worked in sales with the police department and other businesses in the community and was involved with the Senior Center.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
Mr. Carey is survived by his wife of forty years, Joyce Carey of Murray; one son Chris Carey of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter, Terry Carey of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Betty McCarty of Schertz, Texas; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
There will be no services as his family donated his body to science at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
