James Colioun “J.C.” Wright, 72, of Paducah passed away from this life on Monday, November 25, 2019 after a long illness.
J.C. was a born again Christian and had a passionate love for Jesus. He was a retired manager for Page Enterprise Inc. Having served them for 23 years at the Noble Park Queen at 28th and Park Avenue in Paducah and managed BB Whisker’s for a number of years. He also worked as general manager and maintenance supervisor at E-Z Clean Car Wash on Jackson Street in Paducah for 23 years.
His skills as a restaurant manager were beyond comparison, but his real expertise was working with all the kids that came and went during his career as a restaurant manager. His influences produced a lot of admirable adults that are valuable members of the community. He always had a love for people and was always ready to help anyone that needed it.
Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Carol Wright; one son, James Waylon Wright; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Wright; two sisters, Juanita Rankin and Genola Butler; his parents, Colioun and Eura Wright; and well as several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Ryan Heatherly officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm – 8:00pm on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Lindsey Funeral Home.
