Born Saturday, February 27, 1960 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late William "Jake" Cope and the late Bertie Nell (Smith) Cope. She was the wife of the late Donald Ray "Donnie" Newcomb. She became a member of the H.R.H. Dumplin's Restaurant family in Murray in 1995.
Surviving are son, Johnny Ray (Nikki) McLeod of Murray, KY, daughters, Kelli (Tyler McPherson) Canup of Paducah, KY and Angela (Brad) Clark of Hardin, KY; grandchildren, Justin McLeod and Jaylee McLeod both of Murray, KY, Colby Rodgers and Oakley Rodgers both of Paducah, KY, Savannah Clark and Jennifer Clark both of Hardin, KY and two very special friends, Danita Houston and Lauren. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband three brothers and two sisters.
In compliance with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the CDC's health and public safety directives, the funeral services for Mrs. Kathy Newcomb will be private with burial in the Clarks River Cemetery. Bro. Billy Sizemore will officiate.
