Ken Hughes, 82, of Paducah, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Baptist Health.
Ken was born on November 21, 1936 in Shawneetown, Illinois to the late Milas and Isabelle Martin Hughes. He served his country in the U.S Navy. He was a retired boiler maker and a attended Concord United Methodist Church. Ken enjoyed fishing, bowling, collecting clocks and playing pool with his friends at the senior citizens center.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Martha Evans Hughes; step-granddaughter, Rebecca Evans and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sharon Patton, Edith Hughes, Elsie Roe, Hazel Vaneck; brothers, David Hughes, Willard Hughes, Chester Hughes, Bobby Hughes; stepson, Rickey Evans, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Dean Emerson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
