Laverne (Tootie) Mills

Miss Laverne (Tootie) Mills, age 83, of Murray, KY died at 1:45pm Sunday at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital. She was born Feb. 22, 1930 in Calloway Co. to the late Lee & Ozella (Bradley) Mills. She was a member of Sinking Spring Baptist Church.

Miss Mills is survived by her sister; Frankie Lax (John), one nephew; Tim lax (Renee) and one great nephew; Jordan Lax, all of Murray, KY

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Wednesday at BLALOCK-COLEMAN & YORK FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Carl Butler and Rev. William B. Miller officiating. Burial will follow in South Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at BLALOCK-COLEMAN & YORK FUNERAL HOME. Dale Spencer, Johnny Williams, Steve Knott, David Kimbro, Kenneth Lax and Tim Lax will serve as pallbearers.
