Lillia Gennette Moore age 84 formally of Gilbertsville, KY, a resident of Jackson, TN passed away Sunday, July 15th 2018 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN.  Born January 25th 1934 in Saulsbury, TN she’s preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene Peak Moore of 65 years and her parents Robert and Josephine Daniel, two sisters Bobbie and Patti.  Leaving behind three brothers Jim, Donald, Ellis, and five sisters Peggy, Bettye, Effie, Louise, and Nancy.  Mrs. Moore had three children Steven (Judy), Daniel (Darla) and Rebecca (Mike), nine grandchildren, Kristi, Julia, Michael, Preston, Randy, Kye, Nick, Brittin and Elijah, six great grandchildren, Kirsten, Kalee, Felicity, Connor, Claire, Brooklynn, Emma and Kylie. She is also survived by many in laws, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Moore worked in retail at Dillard’s, Hess, and Snyder’s at Kentucky Oaks Mall for twenty plus years as an award winning sales retail associate.  In addition to owning her own businesses, the Clothes Gallery and a restaurant, both in Calvert City, KY.  Prior to moving from Memphis, she worked at Shulton’s Old Spice Company for 14 plus years.  Mrs. Moore was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Estill #73 Calvert City, KY, as well as, an Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonel….Visitation will be July 19th from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM and services to follow at IMES Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray, KY 42071…In lieu of flowers family suggest memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude Children Research Hospital www.stjude.org or send a Donation to the Elm Grove Cemetery Fund c/o Elm Grove Baptist Church 6483 St. Route 94 East Murray, KY 42071
