Malva Jean Mullinax Stovall

Mrs. Malva Jean (Bailey) Mullinax Stovall, age 86 of Benton, KY passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019, at Diversicare in Martin, TN.

Born Wednesday, January 4, 1933 in McCracken Co, KY, she was the daughter of the late Rudy Bailey and the late Ruby (Moore) Bailey. 

She was retired after 15 years of service as District Manager focusing on the Jewelry Department for Walmart Stores. She and her second husband, Howard Stovall were owners of Miz Malva's Antique Mall in Cadiz, KY.  She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. 

Surviving are son, Curtis Mullinax, wife Melissa of Calvert City, KY; daughters, Victoria "Vicky" Beal, husband Garry of Benton, KY, Deborah Tubbs, husband, Quenice of Calvert City, KY, Carole Harper, husband Mitch of Benton, KY; sisters: Leota Inglish of Calvert City, KY, Shirley Vinson of Paducah, KY, Janet Smith of Gilbertsville, KY and Belinda Knecht of Calvert City, KY; grandchildren, Buffy Brooks of Hazel, KY, Jennifer Kaufman of Calvert City, KY, Marty Tubbs of Hendersonville, TN, Secret Holt of Benton, KY, Misty Dyson of Atlanta, GA, Adam Mullinax of Benton, KY; great-grandchildren, Blake Free, Taylor Free, Kenzlea Kaufman Burgess, Abigail Mullinax, Keaton Kaufman, Lillian Holt, Kelly Dyson, Ellie Tubbs, Kate Dyson, Eli Tubbs; and great great grandchildren; Abigail Free and Colton Free. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband and father of her children, Chester "Buster" Mullinax; husband, Howard Stovall; and great grandchild, Bailey Holt. 

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 9, 2019 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home of Benton, KY.  Rev. Chris Moore officiating. 

Interment will follow the service in the Mullinax Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, December 9, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
