Mary Helen Reaves, 88, of Evansville, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014. She was born May 10, 1926 in Paducah, KY to the late Roy and Eula (Harrell) Sellars.
She retired from Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation and was a member of Harwood Baptist Church of Evansville, IN and VFW Post #1114 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents; infant daughter, Pamela; and several siblings.
She is survived by her son, Fred (Becky) Reaves Henderson, KY; granddaughter, Sara Reaves (Kieran) Watkins of Murray, KY; grandson, Christopher Reaves of Louisville, KY; great-grandson, Jesse Watkins of Murray, KY; sister, Wanda Ritchie of Cottonwood, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Imes Funeral Home downtown Murray, KY, with burial in Story’s Chapel Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
