Paul C. McGregor

Mr. Paul C. McGregor, age 100, of Murray, KY died at 7:49pm Monday at Hickory Woods Senior Living Community. He was born Nov. 1, 1912 in St. Charles, KY to the late Bunyon & Mona Florence (McGregor) McGregor. His sister; Nell Teague also preceded him in death.

Mr. McGregor was a member of Dawson Springs Primitive Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church in Murray, KY. He was a retired Farmer and Teacher and a WWII Army veteran. He was also an avid Murray State University Lady Racer Basketball fan.

He is survived by his wife; Mary Iretta (Teaque) McGregor to whom he was married May 12,1946, one daughter; Paula McGregor Alcott (Steve), of Murray, KY, two sons; James Rhett McGregor (Roberta), of Cincinnati, OH and William Clark McGregor (Doylene) of Versailles, KY, one sister; Nan Powell, of Madisonville, KY, seven grandchildren; Kristen Bloom (George), Jayson McGregor (Mindy), Paige Alcott Smith (Jim), Autumn Alcott Ridenour (Rev. Jay), Katie Alcott Wright (Mike), Jill McGregor and Nick McGregor, and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey and Rev. Jay Ridenour officiating. Burial will folow in Good Hope Cemetery in Hopkins Co. with full military honors. Friends may visit from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday at BLALOCK-COLEMAN & YORK FUNERAL HOME, in Murray, KY and after 11:00am Friday at Beshear Funeral Home.
