Rella Mae Wilson, 75, of Murray, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at her home.
She was born March 2, 1940 in West Liberty, Kentucky to the late Isom and Anna Helton. She was retired from Mattel and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Wilson; three sons, Michael Cheek, Richard Cheek, Gregory Scott; four brothers, Harold Helton, Bill Helton, Frank Helton, Jesse Thomas Helton; two sisters, Nell Randall and Pat Purcell.
Rella is survived by son, Stephen Scott of Murray; two daughters, Sherry Brown of Murray, Lesa Reed (Richard) of Salem; three brothers, Wendell Helton of Dayton, Ohio, Phillip Helton (Gaye) of West Liberty, Kentucky, Guy Helton of Georgetown, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Jackie Scott, Tara McClure, Steven Scott, Anna Mae Scott, Brittany Cheek, Amber Landis, Tamare Brown; eleven great grandchildren, Kay Leigh Pugh, Shawn Pugh, Addison McClure, Braelyn Pugh, Ta'kia Pugh, Peyton Valentine, Samuel Noe, Braedon Scott, Aillen Scott, Brice McClure and Mirinda McClure.
A private graveside memorial service is planned for Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 2;00 pm at the Murray Memorial Gardens with Brett Miles officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be sent to St. Jude.
