Rexie OT Stalls

Mr. Rexie O. T. Stalls, 88, of Murray, currently living in Fort Worth, TX, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Mr. Stalls was born on August 27, 1931 in Murray, KY to the late Truman and Annie Morton Stalls.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951-1954 during the Korean Conflict.  Mr. Stalls was a beloved school bus driver for Murray Independent School District.  He and his wife Shirley are members of Calvary Temple Church in Murray.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Terry Stalls; two brothers, Buel Stalls and Lonnie Stalls; two sisters, Maybelle Jones and Rubena Peal and one great grand daughter, Leah Sawyers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Shirley to whom he married on February 25, 1955; two sons, Rexie O.T. Stalls, Jr. (Ronda) of OK, Stacey Alan Stalls of TX; a daughter in law, Connie Stalls of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren, Andrea Becker (Joe), Gina Rawley (Dwight), Jessica Stalls, Christie Sawyers (Jordan), Monica Warren (David); seven great grandchildren, Marcus Becker, Christopher Rawley, Darren Becker, Joshua Rawley, Maddie Sawyers, Cameron Sawyers and Kylan Warren.

The funeral service for Mr. O.T. Stalls is set for 11 AM on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North in Murray.  Donald Peal and Darrell Young will officiate.  Burial will follow at Murray City Cemetery.  Pallbearers include Jordan Sawyers, Dwight Rawley, Marcus Becker, Chris Jones, Kevin Jones, Richie Clendenen.  Honorary Pallbearers are Darren Becker, Christopher Riley, Joshua Riley, Kylan Warren, Cameron Sawyers, Maddie Sawyers.

His family welcomes visitors from 5-8 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Heritage Chapel.
