Ronald Wayne Davidson was born August 30 th, 1947 in Greeley, Colorado to Samuel and Lois Davidson. After spending his childhood in Colorado where he gave his heart to the Lord at the age of 11, the Davidson family moved to Kansas, Arkansas, Wyoming and Oklahoma and eventually settling in Kentucky and became a part of the Glory Barn Holiness Church.

There Ron met, and soon fell in love with Vanda Fay Burnett. They were married September 3rd of 1965, and after their ceremony and a small reception they went to church together as man and wife. Their lives have since revolved around serving the Lord and being apart of their local church. After close to 54 years of marriage they were still very much in love and they're lives were still centered around the Lord.

Ron and Vanda have 5 children, 4 of whom are surviving Robin Carol, Samuel Elvis, Ronald Theodore and Ervin Scott. They have one infant daughter Rebecca Lynn waiting in heaven.

Ron also has 3 daughters in law who he treated as if they were his own, Melanie Sigler Davidson (Sam), Valarie Tatham Davidson (Ted) and Hannah Parker Davidson (Scott). And 5 grandchildren whom he adored, CharLea Davidson, Chani Davidson, Colvin Davidson, Caysee Davidson and Parker Davidson. He is survived by his mother Lois Condreay Davidson, 2 sisters Meriel Fulcher (James), Rose Noel (A.C.) and a brother Monte Davidson (Gina). He was preceded in death by his father Samuel Davidson and sister Cheryl Shropshire (Tommy). He also had many nieces and nephews, some of whom were not related in any way but simply referred to him as Uncle Ron and many dear friends.

Ron was a man of high integrity and great moral character, he had a generous heart, and wonderful dry sense of humor. He loved people and was genuinely interested in the lives of others, he had a way of making everyone he met feel special and important. He faithfully served the Lord and lived out the verse in Proverbs 22:1 "A good name is better to be chosen than great riches." He departed his earthly life August 15th at 8:40 PM and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the Glory Barn Holiness Church with Brother Dathan Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow in the Glory Barn Holiness Church Cemetery.
