Ms. Stella Morgan, 91, of Murray, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray.
Stella was born in Calloway County on May 13, 1929 to John Bruce and Eunie Lee Calhoun Morgan. She was a lifelong member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Stella loved God, her family and her church family.
In addition to her parents, Stella was preceded in death by a brother, Buel Morgan and a sister, Hester Sims.
She is survived by a brother, Howard Morgan and special friend, Lucille Rudolph of Murray; nieces, Laura Lee Tucker (Sammie), Lisa Ann Hays (Don); nephew, Dale Phillips; great nephews, Michael and Justin Phillips, Morgan Hays (Kelsey) and Marshall Hays; a great-great niece, Bekah; great-great nephews, Shaun and Jack.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the Hensley Cemetery. Jordan Roach and Phillip Bazzell will officiate. Stella’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive visitors between 11:00 AM until 12:30* PM on Thursday at the Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, Downtown Murray.
*Due to health concerns surrounding COVID-19, the family will have a drive by visitation from 12:00-12:30 PM, Thursday, for those wishing to remain in their vehicles.
