Vanessa Kay Gower

Vanessa Kay Gower, 60, of Kevil, Kentucky, passed away at 10:18 A.M. Monday, March, 30 2020 at her home.

Vanessa was born on June 23, 1959 in San Gabriel, California to Richard and Mary Tapp.  She was a retired business owner/operator of Tapp Mobile Wash and longtime member of First Baptist Church of Paducah.  She was a lifelong animal rescuer, music lover and huge supporter of President Donald J. Trump.

Mrs. Gower is survived by her daughter, Taylor Gower, of Kevil, Kentucky; and her brother, Richard Tapp and (Shellene) of Paducah, Kentucky.

Mrs. Gower was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Richard Carl Gower; her brother, David Tapp; her parents, Richard A. Tapp and Mary Jo Stratton Tapp.

In compliance with health and public safety directives, the funeral services for Mrs. Gower will be private.
