Mr. Victor Lee Cole, age 82 of Symsonia, KY passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his home.
Victor was a faithful servant of his Lord. He was a member and deacon at Symsonia Baptist Church where he also served in the music ministry for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Vida Cole; one son, Dennis Cole, wife Dawn, of Dogwood; three grandchildren, Angelica Prather, husband Randon, of Benton, KY; Brittany Johnson of Mayfield, KY; and Michael Johnson, wife Venessia, of Kennett, MO; and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Gene Cole of Symsonia, KY and one sister Dale Duckett of Benton, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Virgil Cole and one sister; Joyce Cole.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Symsonia Baptist Church, Symsonia, KY. Bro. Rick Miller will officiate. Interment will follow the serivce in the Clarks River Cemetery, Symsonia, KY.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
Thursday, March 14, 2019 visitation for Mr. Cole will begin at 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY and will resume at 1:00 p.m. at the Symsonia Baptist Church, Symsonia, KY until the funeral hour at 3:00 p.m.
