Wilma Green

Mrs. Wilma Green, 72, of Dexter, KY died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at her home. Wilma was born October 20, 1945 to the late Elvis and Linda Smith Overby. She was a lifelong member of the Dexter Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Toy Green; two brothers, Tim Overby and Curtis Overby; two sisters, Jo Francis Morefield and Joyce Thorn. Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Bonita (Jeff) Dowdy of Hardin, Beverly (Eddy) Rogers of Puryear and Shanda Taber of Dexter; a brother, Dickie (Leslie) Overby of Nashville; a sister, Shirley Houston; five grandchildren, Monica Childress, Jason McGeehee, Logan Dowdy, MaKayla Green and Sierra Houser: 4.5 great grand children and one great great grandchild. A graveside service is set for 3 PM on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Brooks Chapel Cemetery in Dexter. Carl Butler and David Little will officiate. Pallbearers include Jeff Dowdy, Logan Dowdy, Jason McGeehee, Eddy Rogers, Paul Taber and Austin Houser.
