Adele Poffenberger

Dovie Adele Gatewood Poffenberger, 101 of the Fulgham community, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Clinton-Hickman Co. ICF in Clinton.  She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.  She was born September 1, 1915 in Obion County, TN and her parents were Benevolence and Molly Gatewood.  She lived most of her life in the Fulgham community.  Survivors left behind to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Charles R. Clark of Eagle, ID and Billy Gerald Clark of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Patty Oanes of Eagle, ID, step-granddaughter, Montanee Muakmuenwai of Fulgham, Melanie Lane of Dallas, TX, Chuck Clark of Arlington, TX, Jimmy Poffenberger of Savannah, GA and Mary Johns of Somerville, AL, and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Little Obion Cemetery in Graves County with Rev. Phillip McClure officiating.  Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the service time.  Brown Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of arrangements.
