Bette Johnston Chandler

Bette Johnston Chandler, 80, of Clinton died on Monday April 7, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Chandler was a retired rural route mail carrier and member of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton.

Surviving are her husband, Jerrald Chandler of Clinton; one son, Bruce Chandler of Austin, TX; one daughter, Gaye Auxier of Murphysboro, IL; and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C.E. Johnston and Bertie Thomas; two brothers; and two sisters.        

Services will be held at a later date at the First United Methodist Church in Clinton.

Cremation Society of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
