Gloria J. Hammond

Gloria J. Sanders Hammond, 66 of Clinton passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at her residence.  She was a member of New Obion Baptist Church and former custodian at Haws Memorial Nursing Home.  She is survived by her husband Willie Hammond of Clinton, 3 daughters, Vernita Mackins, Jessie Sanders and Hope Hammond all of Clinton; son, Willie T. Hammond of Clinton, 3 sisters, Brenda Crumble, Lou Cresey Mays and Elfredia Crumble, all of Clinton, 2 brothers, Michael Sanders of Clinton and Billy Joe Sanders of Pryorsburg, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Martha Davis Sanders, 3 brothers, 1 sister and 1 grandchild.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. Tony Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.  Friends may call after 10:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.  Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
